SPECIAL MEETING AUG. 28, 2006
SELECTMEN’S CONFERENCE ROOM 5:00 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Patton and Lewis and L. Nicholls, Supervisor of Public Works.
Selectman Lewis commented now that we are all here I would like to apologize for my behavior at the last meeting.
Lynn explained why some of the road crew had to leave early today. The daily work sheets were gone over and explained. Lynn commented it all goes on the computer, it is what we do, on what jobs, by road. It is our data. Selectman Patton commented this is excellent information and a good idea. Hopefully some day you can have the GIS Susan Yorgensen has and you can update. It would be good if all the information were available to you, Karl, Nicole and Susan. Discussion on the roof leaking on the chemical trailer followed. Lynn had it cleaned up, old stuff brought to the Hazardous Waste and everything put on palettes. Leave requests and bills were gone over and signed. Time cards were signed. Chip sealing is scheduled to start the week after Labor Day.
Discussion on sand and salt followed. The sand will be weighed before acceptance. Selectman Patton told First Selectman Eldredge that he has information for his investigation. First Selectman Eldredge asked Selectman Patton to e-mail it to him. Selectman Patton commented he will e-mail everyone with the information. The next meeting is Wed. August 30, 2006; the time has been changed from 4:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
SELECTMAN PATTON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 5:37 P.M.
Selectman Lewis seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 YES (ELDREDGE, PATTON & LEWIS) 0 NO
